Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You have a local Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3-based device that connects to a remote device through Bluetooth.
  • You run an application on the local device that creates a Serial Cable Emulation Protocol (RFCOMM) connection between the two devices by using Windows Sockets (Winsock).
  • The remote device runs an application that keeps sending data to the local device through the RFCOMM connection.
  • The application on the local device closes the connection when the local device is receiving data from the remote device.

In this scenario, the local device may send multiple disconnect messages to the remote device. Additionally, all existing RFCOMM connections on the local device are disconnected.
