When you try to start an Institute of Electrical and
Electronics Engineers (IEEE) 1394 digital camera in Microsoft NetMeeting, your computer may stop responding (hang). Note that this problem only occurs with Windows 2000 Service Pack 1-based computers.
CAUSE
This problem can occur because of a change that was made to the IEEE 1394 Driver Development Kit (DDK) after the Sonydcam.sys driver file was created. This change causes buffer incompatibilities between the original Sonydcam.sys driver file and Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 (SP1) binaries.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
