may take significantly longer than in Microsoft PowerPoint 97. The presentation
may appear to run even more slowly on faster computers that have faster
processors and more memory. CAUSE This problem occurs when you assign an entry animation or
sound to text boxes or other objects in your presentation.

has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
This problem was first corrected in
