Wireless networks are not listed, even though you know that you are in range of available networks.

Cause

Your Windows Phone networking service has to be restarted.

Resolution

To restart the networking service on your Windows Phone:
  1. From the Start screen, flick left to the App list, and then tap Settings

  2. Tap Wi-Fi.
  3. Slide Wi-Fi networking to Off.
  4. Wait a moment and then slide Wi-Fi networking back to On.
