SUMMARY

This article describes how to insert a .mov file into your Web page.

NOTE: This article may pertain to any file format that utilizes a plug-in in the Web browser. To use this article with a format other than a .mov or .qt file, you must obtain a plug-in from the file format's vendor.

The Windows platform does not natively support .mov files. To use .mov files in your Web page, you need the Apple QuickTime plug-in. To obtain this plug-in, please see the following Apple World Wide Web site:

Inserting the .mov File into Your Web Page

1.First, import the .mov file into your web. On the File menu, click Import. Click Add File. Navigate to the location of the file, select the file, and click Open.
2.Create or open a page.
3.On the Insert menu, point to Advanced, and then click Plug-In.
4.Click Browse next to the Data source box.
5.Select the .mov file that you imported, and click OK.
6.In the Plug-In Properties dialog box, click OK.
