When you try to install SharePoint Server 2007 on a computer that is running Windows Server 2012, you experience one or more of the following issues.

Issue 1

The SharePoint Server 2007 installation process fails, and you receive the following error message:
Office SharePoint Server 2007 – Please read Microsoft Knowledge Base article: 962935 cannot be run due to compatibility issues

Issue 2 

The SharePoint Server 2007 prerequisite installer (PrerequisiteInstaller.exe) fails, and you receive the following error message:
