Symptoms

Assume that you have a computer that is running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. You try to configure the Country/region property of domain users in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in on this computer. In this situation, South Sudan is not listed as an available country in the drop-down list. Instead, only Sudan is available.

Note South Sudan became an independent state that separated from Sudan on July 9, 2011.
