No Add-ins loaded due to group policy settings for Office 2013 programsArticle ID: 2733070 - View products that this article applies to. SymptomsWhen you look at Add-Ins section of the Options dialog box in a Microsoft Office 2013 program, none of your add-ins are enabled, as shown in the following figure for Outlook. Collapse this image If you then open the COM Add-ins dialog box by clicking Go, you cannot enable any of the listed add-ins. When you select any add-in, the COM Add-ins dialog box displays the following text. The add-in you have selected is disabled by your system administrator. The warning is shown in the following figure for Outlook.Collapse this image CauseWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. This problem occurs because your administrator has configured a group policy setting to disable all COM add-ins. The following registry data is used to disable all add-ins: Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\<application>\Resiliency DWORD: RestrictToList Value: 1 Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\<application>\Resiliency\AddinList Note1 When this problem occurs, there is nothing listed under this key except for the Default REG_SZ value with no data Note 2 In the above registry data, <application> is the name of the Office 2013 program in which you are experiencing this problem. More informationThrough group policy, an administrator can manage the add-ins that are loaded in Office 2013 programs. The following group policy settings are used to manage this functionality.
