Remote management features do not work correctly after you apply a security policy by using SCW in Windows Server 2012

Symptoms

Assume that you use the Security Configuration Wizard (SCW) to apply a security policy in Windows Server 2012. In this situation, remote management features that depend on the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service do not work correctly. For example, Server Manager does not work correctly.

Cause

This issue occurs because the SCW disables the WS-Management service by default.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, enable the Windows Remote Management (WS-Management) service before you apply a security policy by using SCW.
