By default, when you edit a publishing page, the point (pt) unit is used for the font size. To use the em unit for the font size, follow these steps:
  1. In the Font group on the FORMATTEXT tab, manually type the em font size that you want to use, such as 3em.
  2. Press Enter to apply the change.
