SYMPTOMS

In HyperTerminal, the text in the buffer window (the window above the command window) may appear to be corrupted. The text in the command window should move to the buffer window as the text scrolls past the top line in the command window. However, the text may appear in the buffer window with missing characters or extra characters.

CAUSE

This behavior is caused by a problem in Hypertrm.dll.
