SYMPTOMS

When you search for files or folders, you may not receive any search results.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you have installed TweakUI and have disabled the Search Results feature.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, enable the Search Results feature:
1.Click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click TweakUI.
2.Click the Desktop tab, click to select the Search Results check box, and then click OK.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

Note that TweakUI is not a part of Windows Me and is not supported by Microsoft. For this reason, Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) is unable to answer questions about TweakUI.
