SymptomsIf a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Hub Transport server processes a single occurrence of a recurring meeting that has the AppointmentRecurrenceBlob property set, the EdgeTransport.exe (Microsoft Exchange Transport service) process on the server crashes. The expected behavior is that the Exchange Transport service handles the problem and continues to run. Additionally, the following events are logged in the Application log: Time: Time Time: Time CauseThis issue occurs because single-occurrence meeting requests do not support the AppointmentRecurrenceBlob property. Therefore, an InvalidOperationException exception is thrown that causes the EdgeTransport.exe process to crash. ResolutionTo resolve this issue, install the following update rollup: 2746157
