Offline address book cannot be associated with a particular mailbox

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server and Exchange Server 2003, an offline address list is associated with all the users that are contained in an information store. You cannot associate an offline address list with a particular mailbox or override the global offline address list settings for the information store.

No service pack is required for Exchange 2003.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003.
