Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • A telephony server is running one of the following operating systems:
    • Windows Vista
    • Windows Server 2008
    • Windows 7
    • Windows Server 2008 R2
    • Windows 8
    • Windows Server 2012
  • You use the Telephony Microsoft management Console (MMC) snap-in to configure telephone lines for the telephone users.
  • You assign more than five telephone lines to one telephone user.
In this scenario, the information about the telephone lines that you assign after the fifth telephone line is not updated in the Tsec.ini file.

Note The information about the first five telephone lines that you assign is updated in the Tsec.ini file as expected.

Cause

This issue occurs because a string size is estimated incorrectly when a safe string concatenation is verified.
