Symptoms

When you copy a podcast from your computer to your Windows Phone 8, the podcast appears under Music or Videos in the Music+Videos hub. It does not appear under Podcasts.

U.S.-based users who want podcasts to appear under Podcasts can subscribe to podcasts through the Store using the built in functionality of the phone. When you subscribe to a podcast, podcast episodes appear under Podcasts.

Note Unfortunately, at this time, non-US users can’t connect to Podcasts through the Store.

Here’s how to podcasts through the Store:

Open Store and tap Podcasts.
Locate the podcast you are interested in and tap Subscribe.

You can also try using Podcast apps

from the Store, which are available to users who are outside the United States.
