FIX: Data loss when you export Windows Azure SQL Database to a data-tier application .bacpac package

Microsoft distributes Microsoft SQL Server 20012 Service Pack 1 fixes as one downloadable file. Because the fixes are cumulative, each new release contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous SQL Server 20012 Service Pack 1 fix release.

Symptoms

Assume that you export Windows Azure SQL Database to a data-tier application (DAC) .bacpac package, and the connection to the database is throttled. In this situation, the database may experience data loss.

Note The export process seems to succeed. However, the DAC package does not contain all records from the database.
