How to obtain this update

The client-side update package of Update Rollup 1 is included in the server-side update rollup that is described in the "More information" section. You do not have to download the client-side update package from the Windows Update website separately.

Prerequisites

The client-side update package of Update Rollup 1 applies to all Windows operating system-based computers that have Windows Server 2012 Essentials Connector installed.

Additionally, the latest service pack for the operating system that you are running must be installed.

Registry information

To apply the update in this package, you do not have to make any changes to the registry.

Restart requirement

You have to restart your computer after the client-side update package is applied. The client may be displayed as offline before you restart the computer.

Update replacement information

This update does not replace a previously released update.

Removal Information

You may have to uninstall the client connector to uninstall this update package.
To uninstall the connector, use the Programs and Features or Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel, and then uninstall Windows Server 2012 Essentials Connector.
