Switch a Microsoft account to a local user account

In Windows 8, you can switch a Microsoft account to a local user account at any time. If you do so, you'll forgo a number of advantages such as the automatic synchronization and the use of key apps Windows 8. In addition you must use your browser to log into your Windows SkyDrive to access your folders and pictures.

1. Start Windows 8, sign in, and use the hotkey [Windows] + [I] to open Settings.

2. Click Change PC settings at the bottom.

3. In PC settings, click User.

4. Click Switch to a local account.

5. First you must confirm your current password.

7. Complete the following input form by providing a local password and a password hint.
