SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services may consume a large amount of memory when working with security roles in Analysis Manager. An increase in memory usage depends upon the number of roles added to an Analysis Services database. This memory will not be released until you stop the MSSQLServerOLAPServices service.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (the Analysis Services Components - Sql2kasp1.exe). For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
