RESOLUTION
To enable this feature so that it responds correctly, click to select, click to clear, and then click to select the Use Wireless Link to transfer images from a digital camera to your computer check box again. In Windows 98 and Windows Me, image transfer (IrTran-P) was the default Infrared transfer protocol. In Windows XP, the default transfer protocols are IrCOMM and IrNET". Various 3rd party IR sychronization sofware applications may disable IrTran-P. If the "Enable Image Transfer" setting is grayed out and cannot be selected, uninstall the synchronization software.
