Summary

The Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 client will not display the Record button or the Personal Recording Options on the To My Computer tab from the Recording menu when installed on the following Windows Server operating systems

  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Windows Server 2008

If the Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 client is configured to use the Microsoft Live Meeting Service the following workaround can be used to create recordings.

Workaround
  1. From the Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 client's Recording Menu choose the To Service tab
  2. The Record button and Personal Recording Options will be available
Note If the Microsoft Live Meeting 2007 is configured to use Office Communications Server or Lync Server 2010 the To Service tab will not be available.

Note This issue does not occur with Windows Server 2003 operating systems.
