FIX: Replication Monitor Is Not Updated After Anonymous Subscription (Distribution or Merge) Expires

SYMPTOMS

Replication Monitor is not refreshed after an anonymous subscription (distribution or merge) expires.

Under the Replication Monitor folder, expand the Agents folder. The expired agent still shows the status of a previous action instead of indicating that "The subscription has expired and must be reinitialized".

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server 7.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server 7.0. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
