OFF2001: Submenus Do Not Appear in Office 2001 with PICTify 1.5 Running

SYMPTOMS

If PICTify 1.5 is installed and you try to access a submenu in one of the Office programs listed at the beginning of this article, the submenu does not appear.

The following are examples of submenus where this behavior occurs:
  • Send To (on the File menu)
  • Toolbars (on the View menu)
  • Break (on the Insert menu)
  • AutoText (on the Insert menu)
  • Picture (on the Insert menu)
  • HTML Object (on the Insert menu)
  • Macro (on the Tools menu)

CAUSE

This problem can occur if PICTify 1.5 is running when you attempt to work in an Office 2001 program.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, remove or disable PICTify 1.5 from within the active Control Panel in the System folder.

STATUS

This problem occurs when you use Microsoft Office version 2001 and PICTify version 1.5.
