OL2000: Differences Between Outlook and Outlook Express SUMMARY
The Quick View program is not included with either Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME). Files that you receive by using the Symantec Fax Starter Edition (SFSE), which is included with Outlook 2000 (IMO), with an .fxo extension cannot be displayed with the Quick Fax Viewer.
MORE INFORMATION
To view .fxo files in Windows 2000 or Windows ME, download and install the Symantec Winfax MiniView program from the Symantec Web site. The Wfxqview.exe file is available for download from the following Symantec Web site:
http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/home_homeoffice/products/winfax/winfax10/files.html
(http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/home_homeoffice/products/winfax/winfax10/files.html)
When an incoming fax transmission is complete, a Fax Received message is placed in your Inbox, and an Envelope icon appears in the status area of your taskbar. The actual fax appears in the Fax Received message as an .fxo attachment.
