SYMPTOMS

The Windows Media Server Unicast Service may end when streaming certain files. No errors messages are logged or presented.

If the packet duration is anything less than 1 millisecond, then the Windows Media Server Unicast Service will end with a "divide by 0" error message when converting the packet duration from nanoseconds to milliseconds.

A combination of small packet size and large MaxBitRate can result in packet duration less than 1 millisecond.
