License extension for End-of-Life Antigen/Forefront products

Summary

You purchased one of the following products prior to 1st December 2012, but your subscription expires before 31st December 2015.
You wish to extend your license, but are aware that the product is no longer available for purchase/renewal.

Resolution

If you were licensed to use one of the above products on 30th November 2012, Microsoft will continue to support the subscription through 31st December 2015. If your subscriptions expire before 31st December 2015, and cannot be renewed because the product is no longer offered, and if you need additional time to move to an alternative solution, you can extend your Expiration Date within the product through 31st December 2015.
You do not need to contact Microsoft/your Microsoft partner to do this.

When you update the Expiration Date in the product, if you are prompted to enter a new License Agreement Number, you can enter 3974799 (for the purposes of this article).

Note that if you did not have a valid subscription for one of the above products on 30th November 2012, you can no longer continue to receive signature updates for these products.

On 12th September 2012, Microsoft announced the end of life date for the following Forefront Server and Forefront Protection products as of 31st December 2015, in this blog

These products are no longer available for purchase (since 1st December 2012).
