Summary

This article describes the Microsoft SharePoint Workspace 2010 issues that are fixed in the hotfix package that is dated April 9, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • Consider the following scenario:

    • You open SharePoint Workspace 2010 on computer A.

    • You add an attachment to a record in a workspace.

    • You join the workspace on computer B.

    • You disconnect computer B from the network.

    • You clear the record in the workspace on computer B.

    • You connect computer B to the network again.

    • You check the record in the workspace on computer A and computer B.

In this scenario, the attachment is not displayed in the record. The expected behavior is that the whole record is removed from the workspace.

  • SharePoint Workspace 2010 crashes when you add a third-party tool that consumes excessive memory in a workspace.

  • When you invite several users to a workspace that has a large volume of data, only the first user who accepts the invitation is added to the workspace. When the other users accept the invitation, they are not added to the workspace.

  • SharePoint Workspace 2010 does not index custom fields in documents in SharePoint document libraries.
