Folder inside Site Mailbox seems to disappear when moved in Outlook

Symptoms

A folder that is located inside a Site Mailbox is no longer visible after it is moved within the Site Mailbox using Outlook 2013. This might be more apparent with large folders.

The folder is immediately available within SharePoint 2013 and eventually becomes visible again inside Outlook.
