Introduction

This article describes an update to Microsoft Lync 2010. This update enables participants to receive a dial-out telephone or phone call in order to join meeting audio when the meeting is organized by an audio/video-disabled user who has an Audio Conferencing Provider (ACP) device configured.

Resolution

To apply this change, install the following cumulative update:

2791382 Description of the cumulative update package for Lync 2010: March 2013 After you install the update, a user can join the meeting audio by telephone or by phone in one of the following ways:

  • The user selects the Call me at option in the Join Meeting Audio dialog box in Lync 2010.

  • If the user first selects the Do not join audio option in the Join Meeting Audio dialog box in Lync 2010, the user can then selects the Join Conference Call by Calling Me At option.
