PROBLEM

You have a Microsoft Office 365 subscription that includes Office Professional Plus or Office 365 ProPlus, and you have Microsoft Office installed. You expect Office to be activated based on the account that you used to sign in to Office 365. However, you're prompted to enter a product key.

SOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install Office from the Office 365 portal (https://portal.microsoftonline.com).

This issue occurs if you have an incorrect version of Office installed.
