Summary

This article describes the issue that is fixed in the Microsoft Office Excel 2007 hotfix package that is dated April 9, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issue that this hotfix package fixes

Assume that you use a PostScript printer in Excel 2007 to print an XLS file that contains signature fields to a PRN file. When you use a converting tool (for example, Adobe Acrobat XI Pro) to convert the PRN file to a PDF file, the signature fields are not displayed in the PDF file. In addition, you cannot use a signature button in the PDF reader to locate the signature fields.

Note This issue does not occur in Microsoft Office Excel 2003, Excel 2010 and Excel 2013.
