This problem occurs because the Outlook Social Connector feature depends on the Windows Search service to provide information in the People Pane. However, the Windows Search functionality is not available in either of the following scenarios:

You started Outlook by using the "Run as Administrator" commandIn this scenario, exit Outlook 2013, and then start Outlook 2013, but do not use the Run as Administrator command. To do this, follow these steps:
You do not have the required Windows Search components installedWindows 7
