When a user logs on to a Windows 2000 Professional-based computer that is a member of a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 domain, and both of the following conditions are true
This behavior can occur if the administrator sets the Additional restrictions for anonymous connections policy setting to the No access without explicit anonymous permissions policy setting in the Local Security Policy administrative tool in the Windows 2000 Professional-based computer.

The Additional restrictions for anonymous connections policy setting can be viewed or modified in the Local Security Policy administrative tool. To view or modify this policy setting, click Local Policies, and then click Security Options.
