SYMPTOMS

When you paste information from one worksheet to another worksheet in Microsoft Excel, the Paste Options button may not appear as expected.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when you copy and paste between two instances of Excel.

To work around this problem, open both Excel documents in the same instance of Excel.
