SYMPTOMS

When you use the System Monitor tool in Windows 2000 to log data from a local or remote computer that is running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Windows 2000, only the first instance of a process is listed in Chart view if multiple instances of the process are running. All of the data is captured in the log, but it is not displayed. It makes no difference if the instances are running at the start of logging or after logging has begun. Only the first instance that is started is displayed.

Another symptom of this problem may be that all instances of an application are displayed in System Monitor but they all show the same log data.
