Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You write a Store app by using Windows Library for JavaScript (WinJS), which uses the ListView control.

  • The app uses the JavaScript onLoadingStateChanged:complete event to update the state of a ListView object.

  • The Turn off all unnecessary animations (when possible) option is not selected.

  • A user resizes the ListView control while the object is being updated.

In this scenario, the object is not updated. Additionally, the app may crash.

Resolution

This fix is included in the latest version of Visual Studio Extensions for the Windows Library for JavaScript.
