This article describes the issues that are fixed in the Microsoft Outlook 2013 hotfix package that is dated August 13, 2013.

INTRODUCTION

Issues that this hotfix package fixes

  • When you configure an IMAP account in Outlook 2013, you cannot select the Inbox folder under the Folder Options heading in the Send/Receive Settings dialog box.

  • After you configure the root folder path of an IMAP profile in Outlook 2013, the sub folders of the profile do not synchronize with one another.

  • When you log on to an Outlook 2013 client in a domain environment, the client uses only the external host name to connect to mailboxes that are not the primary mailbox, such as auto-mapped mailboxes, modern public folders, and archive mailboxes.

  • When you design a custom contact form by using the Form Designer in Outlook 2013, the fields in the custom contact form are labeled incorrectly.

To install this hotfix package, you must have Outlook 2013 installed.

File information

This hotfix package may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build. This hotfix package contains only the files that you must have to resolve the issue that listed in this article.

The global version of this hotfix package uses a Microsoft Windows Installer package to install the hotfix package. The dates and the times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) in the following table. When you view the file information, the date is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
