Unable to Move Internet Explorer Toolbars

SYMPTOMS

You may be unable to rearrange or move the toolbars in Internet Explorer 6.0.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the toolbars are locked by default.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:
  1. Start Internet Explorer 6.0.
  2. Right-click any toolbar.
  3. Click to clear the Lock the Toolbars check box.
  4. Move the toolbar to the desired location.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
