HOW TO: Display or Hide the Ask a Question Box in Microsoft Office

The Ask a Question box is a new feature of Office XP that allows quicker access to Help topics. This box is located in the upper-right corner of the screen and displays the following default text: "Type a question for help."

To display the Ask a Question box, follow these steps:

1. In the Office program that you are using, click Customize on the Tools menu.
2. Right-click the Ask a Question box. Click to select the Show Ask a Question Box check box.
3. In the Customize dialog box, click Close.

How to Hide the Ask a Question Box

To hide the Ask a Question box, follow these steps:

1. In the Office program that you are using, click Customize on the Tools menu.
2. Right-click the Ask a Question box. Click to clear the Show Ask a Question Box check box.
