Invalid Page Fault in Magnify.exe When Closing Magnifier

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Help topics for Magnifier while using the Magnifier utility (Magnify.exe), you may receive the following error message when you close the utility:

Magnify has caused an error in KERNEL32.DLL
Magnify will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.

When you click Details, the following is displayed:

MAGNIFY caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at xxxx:xxxxxxxx

CAUSE

This can occur when you are closing the Magnify utility when using Magnify Help topics.

WORKAROUND

Close the Help window before quitting Magnifier.

You can also click Close in the error message dialog box without any adverse effects.
