This article discusses the how to add third party services to the system services in group policy.
With system services, an administrator can define the start-up mode (manual, automatic, disabled) and the access permissions (for example, Start, Stop, Pause) for all system services.
You can find the location of the group policy at Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\System Services.
To add third party-services to the group policy, follow these steps.
Follow these steps on a Windows 2000-based member server or on a Windows 2000 Professional-based computer where the services are located.
