Consider the following scenario:
  • You configure a client policy that requires data from desktop and application sharing sessions to be encrypted in a Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environment.
  • A user (user A) joins an online meeting in Lync for Mac 2011.
  • Another user (user B) shares a desktop or application in the online meeting.
In this scenario, user A is disconnected from the desktop or application sharing session.

This issue occurs because the Lync for Mac 2011 client does not accept an INVITE request that indicates that the sharing session requires an encrypted connection.
