Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You run an application on a Windows Embedded Compact 7-based device.

  • The application calls the IMediaSeeking::SetPositions method.

    For example, the application passes the CurrentPosition value as follows:

    IMediaSeeking::SetPositions(&CurrentPosition, AM_SEEKING_AbsolutePositioning|AM_SEEKING_SeekToKeyFrame|AM_SEEKING_ReturnTime, NULL, 0);

In this scenario, the SetPositionsĀ method returns aĀ CurrentPositionĀ value that is not updated by using the current frame position. Instead, theĀ CurrentPosition value is returned as the original value that was passed to the method.
