Imagesetter or the Microsoft Publisher Color Printer on your computer, you may
be unable to locate the printer drivers. When you run the Add Printer Wizard
and select Generic as the manufacturer, the Microsoft Publisher Imagesetter and the
Microsoft Publisher Color Printer do not appear as expected in the list of
available printers. CAUSE This behavior can occur if you have Microsoft Publisher
installed to Run from Network. When this is true, the driver
file (Mspub.inf) that is needed to install the Microsoft Publisher Imagesetter
and the Microsoft Publisher Color Printer is not copied onto your computer. The
driver file remains available on the network administrative share from which
you installed Publisher. WORKAROUND To work around this issue, install the printer driver from
the network administrative share from which you installed Publisher. To do
this, follow these steps:
