When you are in Presenter view in Microsoft PowerPoint 2002 and in later versions of PowerPoint, you
may be able to see only a small percentage of the frames in an animation,
a transition, or a movie.
However, the slide show is still displayed
correctly.
This problem occurs because animations, transitions, and
movies are not refreshed in Presenter view as often as they are in the actual
slide show. PowerPoint minimizes the additional processor resources that are required by
Presenter view so that more power is available to process the slide show
features.

To work around this problem, reduce the processing power that is
required to display your slide show. To do this, try using different
performance settings in the
Set Up Show dialog box. To do this, follow these steps:
| 1. | Open the Set Up Show dialog box.
To do this in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003 and in earlier versions of PowerPoint, click Set Up Show on the Slide Show menu.
To do this in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007, click Set Up Slide Show on the Slide Show tab in the Set Up group. |
| 2. | In the Slide show resolution box, select a
lower resolution.
For example, if the setting is currently 800x600, click 640x480. |
| 3. | Click OK.
Note You may also want to click to select the Use hardware
graphics acceleration check box if your hardware supports it.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

In addition to the method that is described in the "Workaround"
section, you may also want to consider the following methods:
| • | Change the formatting and content of your presentation to
use fewer processor-intensive animations, transitions, and motion clips.
|
| • | Display your presentation on a computer that has more
processing power, such as a more powerful CPU or display adapter. |
