Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have a report that contains a text box in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services (SSRS 2012).

  • The text box contains Hebrew characters.

  • You go to the Localization window, and set the Direction property to right-to-left.

  • The text box also contains some dates or telephone numbers.

  • You export the report to a Word document.

In this scenario, the dates and telephone numbers in the text box are displayed incorrectly.


Note The issue does not occur if you export the report to other formats, such as PDF or XLS.

Resolution

After you apply the hotfix, change the Language propertyto he-IL for the text box.
