CAUSE

This behavior occurs if both of the following conditions are true:
You publish the PowerPoint presentation as a Web page.
In the Publish as Web Page dialog box, you click the Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0, Netscape Navigator 3.0, or later option under Browser support.
When you publish a presentation as a Web page with support for earlier browsers, many of the advanced features of PowerPoint are removed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, use one of the following methods.

Method 1: Do not use advanced features

When you publish a PowerPoint presentation as a Web page that supports earlier Web browsers, incorporate fewer advanced features into the presentation. Many of the earlier browsers do not support features such as fading or charts and tables.

Method 2: Publish the Web page to support newer browsers

When you publish the presentation, click the Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later (high fidelity) option in the Publish as Web Page dialog box.
