Article ID: 285569 - Last Review: January 29, 2007 - Revision: 2.2 Chart animation fade effects are not displayed as expected when you view a PowerPoint presentation in Internet ExplorerThis article was previously published under Q285569 SYMPTOMS
You create a slide that contains a chart with group chart animation fade effects in a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. When you view this presentation as a Web page in Microsoft Internet Explorer, the animations are not displayed as expected. Instead, the whole chart fades in as one object instead of the element sequence that you selected. CAUSE
This behavior occurs because Internet Explorer cannot use the group chart animation effects. The fade animation effect can only render the whole chart as one object in Internet Explorer.
