PROBLEM

Consider the following scenarios.

Scenario 1

  • You're using the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 experience version for a user’s My Site.
  • On a user’s My Profile page of the My Site, you select the Memberships tab.
  • The Distribution list and SharePoint Site information isn't up to date.

Scenario 2

  • You're using the Microsoft SharePoint 2013 experience version for a user’s My Site.
  • You added the Memberships Web Part to a SharePoint page, or you are browsing to the MyMemberships.aspx page on the My Site.
  • The Distribution list and SharePoint Site information isn't up to date.

WORKAROUND

For Scenario 1, no workaround is available.

For Scenario 2, no workaround is available for the Distribution List data issue. However, you may follow sites to keep track of sites that interest you.

To follow a site that interests you, follow these steps:
  1. Browse to a SharePoint Online site.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click FOLLOW.

To access your followed sites, follow these steps:
  1. On the Office 365 ribbon, click Sites.
  2. View your followed sites in the Sites I’m following section of the page.

MORE INFORMATION

The SharePoint Online Memberships list was replaced by the Follow feature and is no longer available.
